1. Interviews are on only two days,

• September 17, Thursday - Boy Scout Interviews 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM | @ Church of the Good Shepherd - FULL UNIFORM 
• September19, Saturday - Boy Scout Interviews 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM | @ Church of the Good Shepherd - FULL UNIFORM 

The times are listed on the schedule. Please arrive by the opening time to sign in. The interview closes at the end time listed on the schedule. Come in your full Scout uniform.

2. At this time there are only 60 openings for Boys Scouts in this year’s Tournament Troop.

3. Scouts are required to attend the Parade Orientation Meeting on Wednesday October 14 at 7:00pm, practices, and a uniform turn in date.  Check your schedules that you be able to attend the events, if miss an event you will be dropped from the troop. Please understand the advisors are serious about this requirement. Understand that, SAT and ACT tests, school sports, club sports, scout events, vacations, school tests (finals) to name a few, are not an excuse to miss the listed events.

4. Scouts cannot exceed the Philmont –Height/Weight restrictions

5. Your scout uniform is to be in good repair and well fitting. You may be asked to buy or borrow a new uniform. Do not remove patches from the uniform. You must have the eagle patch and eagle award. Do not wear your merit badge sash or OA sash; they are not required. No extra scouting medals or awards on uniform, like palms, religious medals - Only Eagle medal

6. Please review the requirements listed above and make sure you can meet them before applying for an interview.

7. Dues for Tournament Troop are $150 due Before Parade Orientation meeting.

9.All interviews are in person-NO PHONE interview will be granted

10.Fillout Scout Application and bring to interview.or younger on Jan. 1, 2027. If you are 18 years old or older on Jan. 1, 2027, fill out Scout Adult Application and Background Check Authorization. The Scout Application is required on the day of the interview to be interviewed. Note Adult Scouts must take “Safeguarding Youth Training”. The training certificate is due at the Parade Orientation Meeting Oct.14, 2026. The certificate can be turned in at the interview.
